Meet Occupational Therapist, Cara Kellstrom

Cara Kellstrom is a licensed and registered occupational therapist and a certified hand therapist. She completed her undergraduate education at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Towson University in Towson, Maryland.

Cara worked in Jackson, Wyoming for six years in different patient settings and was director of the rehabilitation department for St. John’s Hospital. She moved to Colorado six years ago and has focused her work on hands and has worked in hand therapy clinics in the Denver area. She began working with Dr. Fender when he moved to Colorado. She has experience with trauma injuries, as well as overuse injuries and nerve-related problems.

She is married with three daughters and enjoys skiing.
